In celebration of Children's Day 2024, Saint-Gobain China launched our Children’s Day initiative by sending warmth to children in more than ten schools in Mouding County, Chuxiong Prefecture, Yunnan Province. The campaign received enthusiastic participation: employees and their children from 11 provinces and 31 business units donated 3,767 items, including toys, stationery, clothes and sports equipment, with a total weight exceeding 1.2 tons.

After being sorted and packaged, these Children’s Day gifts have already been sent to the children in Yunnan Province. This meaningful initiative connected children from different regions through acts of kindness, fostering bonds of friendship across distances. Additionally, the children who participated in the donation received commemorative certificates to honor their contributions.

Participating business units include: Gypsum, Weber, Abrasives, PPL, Sekurit, Glass, SEFPRO, AFR, Ceramics, Thin Films, International Purchasing Team, APAC R&D Center, APAC Finance Center and APAC Regional Office, etc.

Saint-Gobain China has always been committed to fulfilling its corporate social responsibility and delivering care and support to children in need. In the future, we will continue this kind of charitable activities, aiming not only to provide material assistance to children in need, but also to instill the values of sharing and helping others in our community. This initiative aligns with Saint-Gobain's Purpose of Making The World A Better Home and we are dedicated to bringing forth more such initiatives.
